Who am I? Sales Director? Sales Manager? Director of Sales? No matter what my signature line states, my job is all about building relationships around a great product. That’s why, if you check out my business card, you’ll spot another title: “Your Best Friend.”
While Claudia and Lauren worked on developing our marketing materials, I began answering questions. What is the demographic for SavorNC? Who is the right advertiser? What are fair advertising rates? Where to start?
The first call I made was to a long-standing client and friend, a businesswoman who has always supported me because of the faith I have in her business and its growth. Her response: praise for our concept and team, and confidence in our ability to bring her new customers.
I hung up the phone and cried with excitement. My grandmother has always told me I could sell ice to an Eskimo, but I believe if you’re selling something you really believe in, it’s amazing the results you can achieve.
